My name is Jake Snelten, the name Fast10Fitness comes from my last name, Snelten, which translates to "Fast 10" in Dutch, reflecting my heritage. With over 3 years of experience as a Personal Trainer and Wellness Consultant, I am passionate about helping individuals become healthier and stronger versions of themselves. My focus extends beyond the gym, emphasizing ways to enhance overall quality of life, improve functionality, and reduce pain. Jake has been such an amazing trainer. I had a different trainer prior to him and they weren’t very professional. Showed up late, always needed to reschedule, etc. I wanted to quit as I felt my time wasn’t valued. Then I was set up with Jake as my coach. He was very professional, on time, and friendly. He was always ready with a game plan before our session. He did a great job teaching me proper form so that I could do the exercises correctly for maximum progress and never neglected stretching and mobility. I retired and just wanted to stay in relative good health as the senior years roll around, I had lower back surgery a few years back and was leery of ongoing issues. I found through the years since my surgery (that took 10 months to recover from) that I was overly cautious to lift anything heavy and every couple of months I would deal with back pain which limited me everyday. With Jake’s help I got into a routine of exersise and committed to sticking with a workout regiment for physical fitness to keep muscle tone and my energy level up. Once I got into the routine of working out and the discipline that Jake showed me I have made a commitment to keep in shape. Deciding to join my wife who was previously working with Jake has been a great decision. I was a bit hesitant at first given I had some back issues and because I had never had a trainer before. I was also worried that starting a workout regime might be a daunting task from a physical standpoint. After 3 months working with Jake I feel so much better. I've been able to work in my yard without any back problems. He is a very knowledgeable trainer and is aware of my limitations and always stresses important posture and movement to avoid injury. He has allowed me to learn at my own pace but likes effort which helps me progress. I would highly recommend Jake Snelten as your trainer.

Astounding Fitness trainer, Jake is Supportive, High IQ, Focused and great time management, with the best resistance training. My sessions with Jake are effective and manageable, because of the pain I feel everyday from arthritis and plantar fasciitis, along with other health issues. I thought strength training would be more of a struggle. Not so much anymore, After a few months of working out, and keeping track of the positive changes, I feel more motivated to keep going. And, as Jake says, “Motion is Lotion” its so true.

“Jake is a delight as a trainer and coach and above all a genuinely good human. He was my trainer over the past couple years. He pushes you but first he takes time to understand what it is you are trying to accomplish and where your body is at, and he meets you there. He has a wealth of applicable knowledge about the body and best practices to help tailor your efforts to your needs, offering the type of insight and personal focus you want from your trainer. If there is something he isn’t sure of or doesn’t know he has the humility to tell you, go find out for you, and apply it to your reason for asking.
In addition to his skills and professionalism, Jake is personable and engaging, his “bedside manner” is respectful and genuine. He was always interested in what was going on in my life and made an effort to connect with things I was interested in but was also happy to just focus on the workout if I wasn’t feeling conversational. He seemed to authentically care about me as a person. I consider him a friend after our time together, the kind I would be willing to do a favor for if he ever needed it outside of our professional relationship
